The Food Bank for Greater Montreal
This organization recovers food surplus from grocers in various neighbourhoods, and then distributes it to over 20 community groups in hopes of fighting hunger. For more information, you can check them out at www.moissonmontreal.org
Foundations McConnell Foundation
The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation has nurtured Santropol Roulant from its earliest days and provided valuable assistance in setting up Project GO, our successful program to encourage student volunteerism. In 2002, they gave us a Capacity Building Grant to enable us to grow and evolve as an organization. Fonds Écomunicipalité IGA-Jour de la Terre
IGA and Jour de la Terre recently supported Santropol Roulant in its efforts to replace its current aluminium containers with reusable plastic containers. Our pilot project in the neighborhood of NDG has proven successful and we are currently preparing to make the switch on our 7 other delivery routes. Thank you IGA and Jour de la Terre!
