Santropol Roulant is teaming up with four musicians from the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and two friends to offer a unique cultural experience filled with music, laughter and friends. Join us on Friday, January 20th 2012 at the Canadian Centre for Architecture. Enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a performance of Dvorak's Terzetto, Op. 74 & Brahms' Sextet No. 1 in B-Flat Major, Op. 18. Attendees will also be granted access to the CCA’s exhibitions.
We look forward to sharing what will be an unforgettable evening with you and thank you for your support. Tickets purchased for $100 will be issued a $60 tax receipt and will have front row seats to the performance. Additional donations are more than welcome and will also receive a tax receipt.
Evening Program: We'll start our night in the CCA's Shaughnessy house with a selection of wines and appetizers. From there, you will be ushered into the Paul Desmarais theatre, for the main event: a private one-hour performance of Dvorak's Terzetto Op. 74 & Brahms' Sextet No. 1 in B-Flat Major, Op. 18. Following the performance, mingle with musicians and friends, enjoy an assortment of digestifs and explore the CCA at your leisure. Additional Information Ticket purchase includes private access to the CCA, cocktails and small bouchées before the performance, a world class performance by six world class musicians and dessert / digestifs after the performance. Event proceeds support Santropol Roulant's unique meals on wheels program. Our innovative approach to meals on wheels uses food as a vehicle to bridge cultures and generations, break social isolation, fight malnutrition among the elderly and engage people in playing an active role in their community.
