Young People Working
Santropol Roulant is a place where young people (and the young at heart!) are given the opportunity to experiment with and define the role they want to play in the world. Since our founding in 1995, young people have shaped Santropol Roulant's evolution - recognizing the direct impact that one person's actions can have on the people and environment around them, and affirming the leadership role that young people can play in the community.
Hundreds of young people have worked at Santropol Roulant and our staff and volunteers are devoted, creative, and competent people who choose to get involved in the community sector not as a fallback, but as an assertive personal choice. The chance to follow an idea from its genesis to fruition, a collective spirit, and an organizational philosophy of 'why not?' are what keep Santropol Roulant 'young', and sustain our relationship with the community so that our work is pertinent and inspiring within and beyond our walls.
